About

People tend to remember me for my infectious energy and hands-on approach.

I like to keep things practical. If it doesn't work in the room, it doesn't work.

My story

The short version of a long story

I've been called many things over the years — facilitator, Scrum Master, agile coach, team developer. Once someone called me an "Agile Wrangler", and honestly? That might be the most accurate.

For 35+ years I've worked hands-on with teams as a coach, facilitator, and trainer. Not from the sidelines — in the room, sleeves rolled up, marker in hand.

I think spatially. Sticky notes, hand-drawn posters, walls that fill up as the thinking gets clearer. When people can see an idea — move it, group it, build on it — something shifts in the room. That's why graphical facilitation runs through everything I do. I've even drawn my own Graphical Facilitation card deck to help others make their ideas visible.

Right now I'm especially excited about FaST — Fluid Scaling Technology. To me it feels like a return to what agile was always supposed to be. I'm Europe's only authorized FaST Agile trainer, and I'm having a blast introducing it to teams who are ready for something different.

In 2012 I co-founded Agile Coach Camp Denmark. Thirteen years of co-hosting later, it still teaches me something new every single year.

I'm based in Denmark, I work across Europe — and I'm still learning at every conference, unconference, and coach camp I can get to.

Off the clock

When I'm not in a workshop room

I recharge by moving. Running, hiking, road trips, and micro-adventures — the small expeditions that reset my head and remind me the world is bigger than a backlog.

I also have a genuine appreciation for a well-crafted beer. Preferably after the run — not instead of it.

It matters more than it sounds. The trails give me perspective, energy, and the occasional metaphor that sneaks into a team session the following week.
